Capsicum annuum
Variety find with aromatic, thick-fleshed, spherical, red fruits.
This exciting variety has been cultivated in the Murrhardt area for a long time and was originally brought from Hungary. It was submitted to the Genbänkle as part of the "Variety Detectives" campaign and forms thick-fleshed, hot, aromatic, red spherical peppers (diameter approx. 4 cm). The spherical fruits are traditionally used in some regions (e.g. Sardinia) for stuffing and pickling. This variety impresses with its pleasant heat and its uncomplicated cultivation. It grows loosely and forms the first flowers relatively early.
